Story Line:  In the backdrop of 1920 Bombay, the 21-year-old Meghna grapples with a profound tragedy as her father, Dheeraj, a struggling writer, tragically ends his life by hanging. However, the inexplicable revelation that unfolds during Dheeraj's autopsy leaves Meghna and her boyfriend Arjun in a state of bewildering disbelief. Despite the intact state of his cardiovascular system, Dheeraj's heart is found to be mysteriously missing. This enigmatic discovery triggers a somber chapter in Meghna's life as she embarks on a journey through her father's personal diary, unraveling startling revelations about her mother Radhika's scandalous past.

Radhika's past is marred by financial liaisons with British individuals for the sake of money and fame, including a shocking attempt to poison her husband, Dheeraj. Overwhelmed by the weight of her mother's transgressions, Radhika abandons her family, eventually marrying the wealthy Maharaja Shantanu of Girvaar.

Consumed by the distressing revelations, Meghna seeks solace at her father's graveside, where she makes a spiritual connection with his departed soul. Fueled by a fervent desire for vengeance, she infiltrates her opulent family home, setting off a series of eerie and mysterious events.

In the midst of her pursuit, Meghna forms an unexpected bond with her stepsister, Aditi, despite the warnings from her father's spirit, urging her to remain focused on her mission. Meanwhile, Arjun becomes aware of Meghna's intentions to exact revenge on her mother and races to Girvaar to caution her. He issues her an ultimatum, urging her to return to Bombay with him. However, he falls victim to a violent assault in his hotel room, orchestrated by the vengeful spirit of Meghna's father.

In an unforeseen twist of fate, when Meghna visits Arjun at the hospital, he encourages her to carry out her quest for retribution, presenting her with an earthen pot containing Dheeraj's ashes. However, it is later revealed that the real Arjun had met his demise during the hotel attack, and the Arjun she encountered in the hospital is merely a pawn under the influence of the malevolent black magic practitioner Rahasur.

Undeterred, Meghna continues her mission and, unknowingly, sprinkles Dheeraj's ashes under Aditi's pillow, inadvertently leading to Aditi's possession and a series of unnerving actions that strike fear into the household. Despite the housekeeper's growing suspicions, Radhika and Shantanu choose to place their trust in Meghna.

Meghna is eventually summoned to meet Arjun behind the palace, where he persuades her to depart with him, asserting that her purpose is accomplished. However, their escape is abruptly halted when the real Arjun's identity is exposed as Rahasur. Fleeing from Rahasur, Meghna's path leads her back to her mother's mansion, where the gardener presents her with her mother's old diary.

As she delves into the diary's contents, Meghna is confronted with a heart-wrenching truth—her father, Dheeraj, was a malevolent figure who sacrificed his wife for the allure of wealth and power. Radhika's protests led to Dheeraj's staged suicide, pushing her to the brink of a suicide attempt, which was thwarted by Shantanu's love. They set out to rescue Meghna, but Dheeraj abducted her before they could reach her.

Consumed by remorse and guilt over her actions, Meghna confesses to Radhika, admitting her role in her father's spirit possessing Aditi. The family turns to a Hindu priest who unveils the sinister pact between Dheeraj and the malevolent Rahasur. In this unholy agreement, Dheeraj's spirit would continue to haunt and torment Radhika, in exchange for his heart after his demise.

With no other recourse to save Aditi, Meghna takes a drastic step. She lights a sacred lamp (diya) in the temple and impales herself with the trident of Goddess Durga, sacrificing her own life. In the spiritual realm, her soul confronts her father's spirit and ultimately guides him toward the path of light. However, as she attempts to follow suit, her boyfriend Arjun's spirit intervenes, advising her to return to the world of the living.

Upon awakening, Meghna finds herself in a hospital bed, surrounded by Radhika, Shantanu, and Aditi, symbolizing the prospect of a new beginning.
